I’m Emily. I was born in Virginia, raised in Ohio and I love all things about the midwest. I’ve been a New Englander for 8 years and I love it! My favorite subject to photograph is my adorable 3 year old son, Ivan. He’s the blonde cutie with the beautiful blue eyes you’ll see in a lot of my photography.

I started my photography journey with my husband, who is a photographer by hobby. After a few years as co-wedding photographers I took some documentary photography courses and I fell in love with journalistic photography. Mike has a day job, but I’ve kept the business going, which he still helps out with second shooting from time to time. My great loves are growing vegetables, making my own granola and bread, and consuming anything covered in melted cheese.
